Working for Lewisham Council in a small design team I was asked to develope a climate change awareness campaign. Our response focused on predicted sea level rises forecast to effect the capital if current trends continue. Below, projected onto the London Tube map, is a one meter sea level rise. All stops and some lines that are under the new level of the river Thames's high tides are gone.
Dipictions of the London Tube map have been constantly changing. This animation shows the change in representation of the Thames over the last century and looks at how it could change in the future.
